Cheewa Komolmalai An Artist Who Truly Devoted His Life to Stone Carving 🪨
Cheewa Komolmalai was a remarkable artist whose works are proudly preserved in the collection of Kunawong House Museum. He lived in complete harmony with stone and nature at his studio Prathimakorn Sathan in Sai Yok, Kanchanaburi. With nothing more than chisels and small hammers, he created sculptures of immense depth and meaning. At the Kunawong House Museum, visitors are invited to admire the sculpture of H.R.H. Prince Narisara Nuwattiwong, one of the earliest portrait works created in Thailand by Professor Silpa Bhirasri, soon after he began his service as a sculptor at the Fine Arts Department.
