It’s been a while since we last shared the story behind the creation of Kunawong House Museum. Today, we bring you a tale from Mr. Sermkhun Kunawong, the founder of the Kunawong House Museum, about the first piece in his collection. What was the first artwork he collected? Cheewa Komolmalai was a remarkable artist whose works are proudly preserved in the collection of Kunawong House Museum. He lived in complete harmony with stone and nature at his studio Prathimakorn Sathan in Sai Yok, Kanchanaburi. With nothing more than chisels and small hammers, he created sculptures of immense depth and meaning.
